Bentonsport, Iowa is located West of Hwy 218 off of J-40. Continue 4 miles from Bonaparte which is also a Historic town.
From Fairfield Hwy 1 passes through Keosauqua and less than a mile after crossing the river in Keosauqua, there will be the J-40 Scenic Byway that will turn off of Hwy 1 and go 5 miles to get to Bentonsport. From Hwy 2 one can go through Bonaparte then to Bentonsport or turn off on to Hwy 1 till J-40 turnoff. NOTE: Bentonsport is non incorporated and may show up in GPS or through zip codes as Keosauqua even though it is actually 5 miles away. |
